Born in 2018, The Road Book is the first of its kind, supplying data from every single World Tour race across the Men’s and Women’s calendar, exclusive essays, editorials from leading figures within cycling, team profiles, and the kind of considered editorial our readers will dip in and out of for years to come.
The Road Book provides any fan of the sport the ultimate chronicle.
The book is still in customs but the officials there have told me it’s a five star read and will pass it on once they have read all 1000 pages during their breaks, and decided what import tax I need to pay.….. Hopefully I have it by next year :D
A wonderful volume well done!!!
Fantastic! Results, statistics, information, articles, photographs, pages, paper, heft ... not a tiny screen in sight. I've got them all.
Ned Boulting's magnificent Road Book, (this is the 6th edition), is to the world of professional cycling what Wisden Cricketers' Almanack is to the world of cricket. You can read it as a chronological record of another incredible year's sport or dip in and out to relive your own favourite highlights. A wonderful addition to any sports library.
Every year you deliver a beautiful red book - the stats interspersed with reflections make a book that shines with passion that the editor and contributors clearly have for the sport. Looking forward to the next one!
What a fabulous book for anyone from that era of racing. 1989 was a superb year. Great quality. Terrific stories…especially the one starting on page 334 by Lisa Brambani. Love it.
Thanks, Lisa Brambani x
Perfect, as ever.
Great book with all the details of every race in the calendar, graphs, elevation, classifications and much more
The best one yet. An amazing insight to not only the races but the riders too. Going to need a bigger shelf 👍
I love this book. It’s my personal Christmas present to myself. Beautifully presented and superbly compiled.
The Road Book 2023
I cannot imagine what stats you would want that are not compiled here, along with some lovely essays from leaders in both the mens and womens pelotons. Well done to Ned and the team for producing such a quality book. To be cherished.
You probably need to have a passing interest in road cycling to enjoy this book, but its not essential! A combination of facts, statistics and articles make this a compelling ‘must read’ whether binge reading or dipping in its great value.
Every year The Road Book is hands down the best purchase a cycling fan can make. Insight from top riders, unrivalled intro from Ned summarising the year that was and all of the nerdy facts and figures a fan could wish to look back on ahead of the races taking place the following year. It helps that they look amazing on the shelf as well!
Just a brilliant book
