Who Are We?

The Road Book publish a beautiful hardback book once per year featuring the entire road cycling calendar of that year. Since 2018 we have been creating this unique book, and there is nothing else like it for fans of cycling. Our dedication and love for cycling guarantees the highest quality product for every year.

What Makes The Road Book Special?

There really is nothing else like the The Road Book.

Despite the beauty of road racing, its long and storied history and its legions of dedicated fans, there has never been a publication for this sport. Since 2018, it has been a goal to create this beautiful and authoritative book for fancs of the port every year.

Our small and dedicated team work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that the book is printed within the 2 weeks of the cycling season ending for the year.

We bring together the worldwide community for cycling lovers who appreciate the stats and stories of the cycling year, providing real depth and insight.

We are so much more than stats, and our books are full of essays which are love letters to the sport of cycling.

Whats more, we are immensely proud that each year, a different selection of contributors get to submit their work for publication, meaning that every year, our content is as fresh and forward thinking as possible.

Placing An Order

When can I pre-order this years book?

We always open pre-orders 3-4 weeks before the end of the cycling season.

We have a number of limited signed and numbered editions available to pre-order.

To be notified first, please sign up to our newsletter as this is where we share our updates.

I have pre-ordered an edition, when will receive it?

We open pre-orders about 4 weeks before we receive the books into our warehouse from our printing house.

The moment we have checked the books and are happy they are of our high standards, we will start to dispatch all orders.

Our pre-orders are normally very popular, so please be patient. 

You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched with a tracking number. 

I have ordered a signed edition, can i get it personalised?

All signed editions will be signed by The Road Book editor (or the contributor stated in the product description).

The signed editions are signed in advance and can't be personalised.

I have ordered a numbered book, can I request a particular number?

We despatch all the books in the order they are placed, but we cannot guarantee a particular number.

how do i edit my personal details online?

If you have an account, your personal details can be edited in the My Account section of our website after you have logged into your account. You can update your contact details, keep track of orders and manage your contact preferences.

Can I change the delivery address after I have placed an order?

We are unable to change your delivery address once your order has been placed so please take extra care to ensure your delivery address is correct and complete.

Can items in one order be delivered to multiple addresses?

Each order can only be delivered to one specific address. If you wish to order products to different locations, please create a new order for each location. 

Can you deliver to PO Boxes?

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

Can you deliver worldwide?

Yes we do deliver the books worldwide.

Please note the book is rather heavy and this is reflected in the postal costs. We are always looking for the best rates with our delivery partners, but as a small business we will never be able to compete with larger businesses on postal costs.

Everything else

My book arrived damaged, what can I do?

We work hard with our warehouse to ensure all the books are packed carefully to arrive to you in excellent condition.

If this isn't the case please drop us an email on office@theroadbook.co.uk with photos on the damage.

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the book.

What is your returns policy?

We’re extremely proud of our books and make every effort to describe them accurately and produce them to the highest possible standards.

If for any reason a book does not meet your expectations, you may return it to us within 14 days and we will arrange for an exchange or refund (excluding postage). Just drop us an email at office@theroadbook.co.uk

Can I buy your book from another store?

We only sell the book directly from our website.

We do have a select amount of copies available to buy from Rouleur too.

Will you be offering a digital version?

We know the book is heavy and its difficult to read on a commute.

Currently we aren't working on this, but this may change in the future. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear of any news.
