Even though those who had studied the consequences and effects of pandemics warned repeatedly and severely that we would be living with the aftershocks of Covid-19 for years to come, the unsilenceable optimist within us all refused to embrace the reality of their prognosis. The trauma of 2020 could not possibly be repeated - or so we believed. We were partially, but not completely, right."

Amazing Statistics
Ordered this after being impressed by the 2022 edition. The amount of statistics in these books is amazing. I particularly wanted the 2021 edition because of Cavendish's amazing Tour de France.
Once again my only complaint is how small the print is, I'd like to be able to refer back to these in years to come but fear I will need a magnifying glass.

I bought the first edition in 2018 and the only negative thing I can say is you have a whole 12 months to wait for the next one! Superb publication that really deserves to be on every cycling fans bookshelf.
